"Cute dress, but the lace didn’t feel great"
The dress is overall, and I did like the look of it at first, but the lace felt kind of cheap. Also, the embroidery was a bit messy in spots, which I noticed quickly. It snagged way too easily too, so I was a little nervous wearing it. Cute from a distance, just not as nice up close.

"Good quality for what I paid"
I bought a dress from tadashishoji.com for a wedding, i was happy with it. Like, for what I paid, it really felt worth it.
The fabric felt nice, the fit was true to size, and it looked a bit more expensive than the sale price, which was a nice surprise. Shipping was fine too, no real issues or anything.
It’s definitely not cheap-cheap, but for a special occasion dress, I think the value is really good. I’d probably order from them again

"Cute dress, but the fabric felt cheap"
This dress looked really nice online, so I was expecting a bit more. When it showed up, the fabric felt super thin and kind of cheap, like some flimsy bargain-bin nonsense. It also wrinkled almost immediately just from trying it on. The fit was fine, but for the price, the quality was a letdown.

"Cute shape, but I felt stuck with it"
The dress does have a really nice silhouette, so I wanted to like it. But once I put it on, the fabric felt cheaper than I expected and the bust fit was just awkward. I kept trying to convince myself it was fine because of the price, but I just felt trapped between keeping something I didn’t love or dealing with the hassle of returning it. Disappointing overall.

"Checkout was quick and easy"
I had a smooth checkout experience overall. The payment page loaded quickly, which was really nice, and the shipping options were easy to understand. My only small note is that I wish the discount code box stood out a bit more, but everything else felt simple and stress-free.

I returned my dress it wasn’t a big deal or anything. The steps were clear, so I didn’t have much trouble figuring it out. It did take longer than I was hoping, but it’s fine, totally fine. Overall, it worked out okay.

"Nice-looking site, but frustrating to use"
The site looks really at first, but actually using it left me feeling mentally drained. The filters kept resetting while I was browsing, and checkout on my phone was more confusing than it needed to be. I wanted to like the experience, but it got annoying quickly

"Worked out great for both of us"
I’m petite and my sister is tall, so I expected at least one of us to have some awkward fit issue. But both dresses ended up fitting really nicely, which was such a relief. No weird length problems or anything that made us feel uncomfortable. We both felt good in them, and that’s usually how I know something is a keeper.

"A decent little bag, but the zipper worries me"
I started using this right away and at first I was happy with it. It looks nice and does the job, but the first time I zipped it up, I kind of paused because the closure felt a little flimsy. I’ve been careful with it since then, and it’s still working, but I do find myself being gentle every time I open or close it. Overall, it’s fine, but I really wish the zipper felt a bit sturdier...

"Worked great for the wedding"

"Cute dress, but the comfort could be better"
The dress looked really on, and I liked the fabric at first. After sitting for a while though, the waist started feeling tight, which was kind of annoying and avoidable with a little more give in that area.
I wore it to an evening event and got through the night fine, but I did find myself adjusting it more than I wanted to. It’s not a bad dress, I just expected it to be a bit more comfortable for the price.

"Pretty dress, but the fit was strange"
I ordered a dress from Tadashi Shoji and, uh, the fabric was actually really nice. It felt high quality, but the length was way too long on me. I’m average height, so I was surprised it still needed some serious hemming.
The fit was kind of weird overall too. It was tight around my waist but loose up top, so the proportions just didn’t feel right. For the price, I expected it to fit a lot better

"Disappointed with the stitching for the price"
I was really disappointed when my dress arrived. There were loose threads in a few spots, and the seams looked uneven, like the finishing was done in a rush. For the price, I expected much better quality. I feel like an apology is the least they could offer because this wasn’t what I was expecting at all...

"Fit was actually right"
I ordered a dress from Tadashi Shoji and was bracing myself for a sizing headache, but it ended up matching the size chart really well. I didn’t need any major alterations, just a small hem fix because I’m short. It’s so nice when online sizing doesn’t turn into a totally preventable guessing game.

I spent some time browsing tadashishoji.com, the dresses are really pretty. They have that elegant, classy vibe that feels perfect for formal events, and some of the photos literally make the designs look super polished.

That said, the website itself felt a little basic to me. A few pages took longer than I expected to click through, and it just didn’t feel as smooth as I’d hoped. Overall, it’s nice and worth checking out, but it didn’t fully wow me.

"I bought this dress a few months..."
I bought this dress a few months ago and have worn it several times since, and it’s held up well. The fabric still looks nice, and the seams haven’t started doing that annoying thing where they get loose after a couple washes. I did take off one star because you definitely have to be a bit careful when washing it, which is kind of a pain, but not a dealbreaker

I ordered a dress for an event I’d been looking forward to, and the shipping was way slower than I expected. It didn’t show up when it was supposed to, and the tracking barely updated, which made the whole thing stressful. My sister had a similar issue with them before, and I guess I should’ve listened. I wouldn’t order again if I needed something by a certain date.
